• Automated backup and recovery on all critical systems

5a. Offline Data Storage

When the official GenSmart mobile app caches course content for encrypted offline study, the following applies:

• Cached videos are encrypted using a device-specific key
• Offline cache automatically expires after 30 days
• A maximum of 2 GB of content can be cached per device
• All offline cache is removed when you log out, your enrollment expires, your refund is processed, or you delete your account
• Offline cache cannot be exported, shared, or accessed outside the GenSmart app
• Direct downloads of course files are not provided

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Export your data

6a. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. Account deletion can be initiated from your profile settings within the app, or by emailing privacy@gensmart.io.

When you delete your account, all personal data is removed from active systems within 24 hours and from backups within 30 days. Anonymised financial records may be retained for 7 years as required by law. For full details, see our Account Deletion Policy.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage, and assist in our marketing efforts. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
